Does my kid know they're being monitored?
That's your call. KidSnitch works silently, but we recommend being transparent with your child. Research shows kids make better decisions when they know parents can see their activity.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. We use Apple's Screen Time API, a VPN profile for web monitoring, and optional iCloud access for message summaries. Full iMessage monitoring requires connecting your child's iCloud account.
Can it read encrypted apps like Snapchat?
Snapchat messages are encrypted end-to-end so direct message reading isn't possible. However, we can see Snapchat usage time, who they're chatting with, and flag unusual patterns.
What age is this designed for?
8–17 year olds. Works best for kids with their first smartphone through high school. We're COPPA compliant and designed specifically for minors.
How is this different from Apple Screen Time?
Screen Time shows raw numbers. KidSnitch tells you what actually happened — in plain English, with context, flags, and AI summaries. It's the difference between a spreadsheet and a conversation.
